I was sitting at home, angrily watching virtual lectures and doing assorted homeworks when my dad called and asked me to go check on his dog since he would be gone all day. So off I scampered to visit Oscar. As expected, I found the tough guy cowering behind the couch after I let myself in, ha.
I went to go get my oil changed, and learned I needed new brakes. This meant I was stuck at the car dealership for 3.5 hours, bored out of my mind, hungry, and with nothing to entertain me but my biomedical ethics textbook, which I hate. So I wandered around sitting in various cars, and decided I want to buy a new one. Because I totally have lots of money lying around, right? Not. Anyways, here is the lovely scion tC that was my favorite. It made me miss my old car. I need a little 2 door car in my life.
God, I’m getting angry at myself for so many damn pictures of my cats. I need to find something else to take pictures of. In this picture, Oatmeal was actually snoring, it was hilarious.
Wasabi, sleeping again. Whenever I take pictures of her awake she looks like a grumpy old man, so I guess this is for the best.
I feel like I kind of look like a drag queen here. I also look really sweaty. These are our concerned faces.
After a long day of shopping at REI and climbing, Chris, Ronee and I all went to Pappadeux with TJ. As we left, we saw this gem in the parking lot. I really love the hard Photoshop work that went into this, I mean look at the Statue of Liberty weep!
After sitting around all day hungover and useless, Kim and I got our act together to go adopt another sphynx! This fine young gentlemen is named Porkchop (at least in my mind), and he is super fat. Here he is meeting his new brother Zombie. They’re friends now, I swear.
Oh god. Thursday Night Thunder. I really don’t need to say more, but I will. Half priced martinis. Drunk dancing. Tiny Hispanic man wall mural. SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS. Kirkland brand shirts. Trespassing 2am swimming. 4am Dennys. This is obviously from the beginning of the evening.
Wasabi loves napping. She loves snuggling. So basically, when you play video games and allow her to snuggle-nap on your lap, she’s in heaven. Here she is, commandeering the controller.
Slushee and I went for another walk, and this time we did not like it. It was way hotter than we initially judged it to be, and our path past my old high school had very little shade. There was some sort of event going on, without other schools bussing in, and there was this lovely rainbow “Welcome” sign and balloons everywhere.
